Reconciled
Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself
through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
II Cor. 5:17-18
For all
those who have come to God through Christ Jesus, it is imperative for each to know that you are not the same. As Paul states in this passage, you are a new creation. Father has made you new in
Christ. Your life of sin has been removed by His blood, and you are new!
You have
been reconciled to God. Before you were alienated from God by your sin nature. Now the blood of Jesus removes our sins and gives us a new start with Father. And, we are not who we were! Our life can
begin again with our hope and strength in Him. We can live in the true purpose for our life. We are, in fact, new crea-tions in Him!
Another
aspect from this action is that we can be ambassadors for Him. We can represent Him to others as we walk through this life. You see, He has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. We can go to
others and share with them the love that Father has for them. He has shown it through His Son, Jesus. We can speak of the life that is available to them in Jesus.
Saved for
Purpose!! Father did not only save us through His Son, but He gave to us the opportunity to witness of His love!
