TRUST THE LORD
In Thee our fathers trusted. They trusted, and Thou didst deliver them. To Thee they cried out, and were delivered. In Thee they
trusted, and were not disappointed.
Psalm 22:4-5
Trust is
one of the most important aspects of any relationship. Without trust in the other, it will be almost impossible to have a good relationship in which there will be joint love and care. Trust is the
ability to know that one will be accountable to the other in the relationship.
And with
God, we know that we can trust in Him. For He is and is a rewarder of those who seek Him. He does not waver in His love, and He does not hide from us in the time of trouble. He is always there for
us.
Father
shows us over and over the love that He has for us. Time after time He shows that we can trust Him for all things. We can trust Him for the "small" things and for the "large"
things.
How many
times has Father delivered us from the fiery furnace? Some times we were delivered even when we were not even aware. Trust is there even when we are not aware that it is. We can be this way because
we know we can trust him.
Since
we have a Father God in whom we can trust, should we not also make it our priority to show Him that He can also trust us?
