SOWING TO THE SPIRIT
Do not
be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall
from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:7-8
Sowing is a deliberate action. We can choose to sow or not to sow. We can choose to sow in the
natural, or we can sow in the Spirit! Father has made us in His image with the ability to choose. He allows us to make that choice.
If we choose to operate in the flesh, to follow the desires of the flesh (or natural mind), we
will reap according to that choice. The consequences, the fruit of that choice, will reveal themselves in ways that will be very detrimental to us and to those around us. Fleshly seed produces
fleshly fruit which is not eternal.
But to the one who chooses to sow spiritual seed, that seed will yield fruit which is enternal!
This fruit will yield consequences which will produce enternal benefits for all affected by this choice. If we want fruit which will bring good things for us, our family, and our brethren, then we
must choose spiritual seed!
