KEEP SEEKING
If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ
is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3
This is a principle of Father's which is hard for us to grasp and then to practice. We live
in the earthly realm, but we are to be spiritually minded. Our heart is His, and we are to live out the purpose for which He called us to Him.
This is, in essence, a true calling to live a life completely given to Him. As children of
God, we have access to commune with Father. We can know His thoughts for us and for the plan He has for us. We must seek these things always so that we can be the faithful child we are called to
be.
As we live out our lives, each day will bring decisions and/or actions we must make in
order to bring His kingdom to our surroundings and to affect the lost. We must know how He would have us to act and to speak to bring a witness of Him into the environment. We are to live our lives
to bring glory to Him.
Paul said that we "have died." We must die to self but live for Him. As Paul spoke, "our
life is hidden with Christ in God." And yet, we have been resurrected in Christ. We live in Him!! Let us live totally for Him to bring His Kingdom to bear and to glorify
Him!
