ROCK CHURCH VISION MET FOR 2025

Strategy # 1 - Expand our local service ministry in the community.

Rock Church added three new service ministries this year    beginning in May. Signature Healthcare contacted us and asked if we could come and minister there. So a team goes two times a month to teach and pray for seniors there.

Feeling the need to pray more specifically for our city's needs, we started sending a team twice a month to the City Council meetings. They pray there and bring prayer concerns back to all of us. We have also made contacts with the mayor for whom we have prayed several times in person.

We also go twice a month to the Commitment House to teach and pray for the men and women there who are going through the addiction program. We have had many salvations and rededications. We also give out New Testaments.

We have also maintained our support and participation with Warm Blessing once a month serving meals and inviting people to church, working with Clarity events, (our local prolife organization), and we continue our support for the Gideons.

Strategy # 2 - Train, activate, and increase the number of ministry teams.

We trained and activated several new team members for our rotating Ministry Teams. These teams pray for needs and also give prophetic words after our regular services on Sundays. We also increased the number of teams from four to five.

Strategy # 3 – Delegate more responsibilities with accountability to the elders and other members of the church.

All of our new outreach ministries have someone in charge, and they have responsibilities for that ministry as well as for reporting results to the Pastors.

All of the elders and many other members rotate teaching the Wednesday night Bible Study. We also rotate teaching and responsibilities for men's and women's meetings.

The Rock Church also cosponsered and hosted
a Women's Conference and a Youth Ministry this year. Our people did some of the speaking, did prophetic ministry, and participated and served in many ways to host these events.

Strategy # 4 – Plan and have at least one evangelistic outreach activity.

The Rock conducted an Evangelism Seminar in March to encourage evangelistic hearts. The purpose was to expand ways to share Christ in a natural way.

We were VERY excited in April to start our podcast, "Water from the Rock." We do two broadcasts a month!

In May we had an Evangelistic Yard Sale. We had a prayer table and prayed for many people. We also gave out church information, free CD's, devotionals and other material.

Another NEW idea was “Pull Over for Prayer." We prayed for many people and plan to do this again in the spring.

We will be teaching and serving a meal twice a month at "Room at the Inn" December-February.
