THE VEIL REMOVED
To this day wherever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a man turns
to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
2 Corinthians 3:15-17
If a person has not repented of their sins and believed in the Lord Jesus, then they do not
have the spirit of the Lord to reveal Christ's truth to them. As the scripture States, a veil lies over the heart, and they cannot receive the things of God. The unrepentant heart cannot receive His
truth.
But, when one is saved, the veil is removed. Now the Spirit of the Lord can begin to reveal
the truths of the Word of God. A person can receive His truths because the spirit of the person has been reborn. He is a new creature in Christ Jesus!
As we learn the truth of who we are in Christ, then we are removed from the law where we
have to work to live up to the law to receive life. We can know that we are saved through Jesus! We then can walk in the freedom of His salvation and rejoice in our life in God through Him!
