SEEK THE THINGS ABOVE
If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ
is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
Colossian 3:1-2
We, as the children of God, are to determine in our hearts to be as He is. If we have been
raised up with Him, then our spirit-man should be more concerned with the things of the kingdom. This does not mean that we become so kingdom minded that we forget our mission here in the earth. As a
matter of fact, we should be reminded that our mission is to establish kingdom here in the earth. We are to preach that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
But if we are to do this properly, then we must seek the things above. This will change our
thoughts and our priorities so that they align more with the kingdom of God instead of our own earthly ambitions. As our minds and our hearts are changed, then we will know more of what Father would
have each of us to accomplish.
Kingdom must be our goal. His kingdom in the earth will happen. If we fail in our part, the
kingdom will still be established. But if we want to be a part, then we must seek His heart for our heart to mirror His. Then we will be able to go forth in power knowing that we are charged to do
His will and establish Kingdom!
