BROUGHT INTO FAMILY
But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the
Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Gal. 4:4-5
Father wanted, and still wants, a people who will be His. He desires sons and daughters who
will walk with Him. He has plans and purposes for those who will be His children. These plans will provide blessings for those who follow them, and will bring glory to Father and His Son, Jesus, as
His children obey.
But, we should always remember that it was not of our own desire that we became His
children. It was His desire that we become His children. Ours was to choose, but it was His to provide the way through Jesus our Lord! Therefore, we must always be thankful and grateful that we have
a Father who loves us so much. Let us praise Him for His eternal love.
As obedient children, it is to us to bring glory to our Father. In the days before, it was
always the children's desire to bring glory to their parents. In the commandments, the Lord said to "honor your father and mother." Now, we can have the joy of bringing glory to Him by doing His will
for us in our lives. Should we not do so and tell others of our great God? As we bring others to Him, we will bring honor to our God!
