                        OUR FAITH-GREAT OR SMALL
And He said, "come!" And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water... But seeing the wind, he became afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!"..  And Jesus immediately took hold of him and said, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
                                                Matthew 14: 29-31
Seeing the example of Jesus walking on the water, Peter wanted to emulate Jesus and do as He was doing. Jesus did acts of faith, and it inspired the disciples to do the same. But even as Peter was doing the miracle, he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the circumstances. When he did, he sank.
This episode is such a witness to those of us who would follow Jesus. He has given unto us the same power. He told His disciples to speak in His name! He gave them authority over all of the power of the enemy. The disciples came back amazed that "even the demons are subject to us in your Name!"
We must begin to operate in a greater level of faith! We must be those who look at Him and His example and not at the circumstances. If we do, then we will be amazed!
                                                        Apostle James
