Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the lightness of man. And being found in appearance as man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
                                                        Philippians 2:6-8
Jesus humbled Himself! This God took upon Himself the likeness of a man with all the weakness of man. He came down from the throne which He had in the heavenly realm to become a human such as we are. Why?
In obedience to His Father's desire to have a people, He gave Himself. He laid aside His privileges in order to obey and to see His Father's plan complete which was to bring a people to Himself.
Now, we will see Him lifted up in the heavens and in the earth to become "king of kings" and "Lord of the Lord's!" Jesus was obedient to see the will of Father accomplished. What about us?
Are we ready to give all that we have to be obedient to the Father? If we are, then we will see His plan for us accomplished and that will bring glory to Him!
                                                       Apostle James
