THE LIVING IS NOT IN THE DEAD
...and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why
do you seek the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee...
Luke 24:5-6
So many people still are unable to hear the truth about Jesus Christ. How can a man die and then
live again? Jesus said, "With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible!" But to know this and believe it, we must become born again. We must allow our inner man (our spirit) to
be renewed, reborn, by the power of His Holy Spirit. As we, in faith, confess that Jesus is the living savior; the Lord of all, then we will know as we are known.
Even though these women had walked with Jesus; had seen His miracles; and had heard His words, they
were still slow to accept His truth. The men, His twelve, were unwilling to believe even after the women reported these things. It was only after Jesus appeared that some truly
believed.
Saints, we cannot continue in unbelief! We must believe all that Jesus told. We now have the
witness of the Word of God and of all those who gave witness to seeing Him! We must not look to the dead works or the dead world for salvation. We must look to Him, the living One of God. In His life
is our life!
