GOD IN US

And Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. And He answered and said, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here shall be left upon another, which will not be torn down."

Matthew 24:1-2

The temple in Jerusalem was a large, beautiful building ornate in its décor and structure. It cetainly was a marvel. The Jewish people were very proud of it! Yet, when asked about it, Jesus said it would be "torn down." The disciples could not understand it. Yet Jesus was speaking prophetically and in the natural. The building in the physical was going to be torn down. The Romans did so around 40 years from that time. Yet, there also a prophetic word that would be true!

Jesus was speaking of the kingdom that Owould be in hearts of men. The concept, the idea of the kingdom was not to be that of a physical building. The true "kingdom of God" was to be in the hearts of His people. People can go to a liturgical service in an ornate building but that does not mean they have the "message" in their heart. Jesus is calling those who will have the kingdom in their hearts and will walk in it always! Saints, have kingdom in your hearts.
