                  THE TIMING OF HIS KINGDOM

    For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way, and then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will stay with the breath to His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming.

                                                  1 Thess.2:7-8

     If ever we questioned if Father was in control, these verses truly confirm what is happening in the earth today. There is a plan, not the enemies, but God's! He will bring all things to fruition in His timing and for His purpose!

     The devil thinks that He has something to say concerning the last days. All he can do is sway people to follow him instead of knowing the truth in Christ Jesus. God has put forth for His people enough of His plan, particularly in Jesus, that we are without excuse in knowing what decisions we should make in order to follow and know the Lord.

     Peter wrote in II Peter 2 and asked a very pertinet question, "what short of people ought we to be in order to hasten the day of the Lord?" We, saints, should live holy, obedient lives in order to bring a witness to the lost!
