O clap your hands all peoples; shout to God with the voice of joy.  For the Lord Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth.... God has ascended with a shout, the Lord, with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth.

                                                                Psalm 47:1-2, 5-7a

The psalmist, in these few verses, celebrates the greatness of our God, King of Kings. The psalmist exhorts us to sing praises loudly and with exhuberance to our God; to glorify Him!

As the people of God in heaven, we should know how great and glorious He is. We should know His greatness through His love of us and His work in our lives as we experience Him and see Him work on our behalf. His joy is our strength!

Because of who He is and because of the knowledge we have of Him, we should shout and praise Him loudly! We should rejoice in Him and honor Him above all others. The strength of our celebrations of Him should resound through the heavens as we shout, sing and clap our hands. Allow His joy to be in you and celebrate Him!

                                                                  Apostle James
