                      GOD'S CALL TO WITNESS

     As for them, whether they listen or fail to listen- for they are a rebellious house- they will know that a prophet had been amoung them. And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions:....

                                                  Ezekiel 2:5-6a

     When God called Ezekiel to go to the house of Israel, He told him to speak whether they listen or not. God is very concerned with giving each person an opportunity to hear the word of salvation. It is not His desire that any should perish but that all would come to salvation!

     Therefore, we, too, must be willing to speak to the lost and to those who have gone astray whether they listen or not. We cannot be dismayed if they do not respond. Neither can we be afraid to speak the truth. We must speak as Holy Spirit leads so they have the opportunity to make their decision.

     Sometimes we will have to speak in places which are unfriendly. If we are among the thorns and thistles, then know that He will be with us! We must be His prophetic voice!
