                                 THE LAW AND OUR HEART

      But we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinner, for the unholy and profane,....

                                                        1 Timothy 1:8-9a

     Jesus stated in Luke 16 that the Law would not pass away yet in Timothy, Paul said that the "Law" was for the ungodly! How do we handle these two statements?  In order to do this, we must remember what is said in both the Old and New Testaments.

     Jeremiah said in His writings, Jeremiah 31, that God would write His law upon our heart! Further, the writer of Hebrews, in chapter 8, said the same. The Law will be upon our heart. Therefore, if we are led by the Spirit, we will not break the Law but will fulfill it by our obedience to the Spirit!

     Father said that He would write the Law upon our heart. Therefore, if we are following Him by His Spirit, the Spirit will lead us to do that which is righteous (lawful). It will witness in our spirit! Saints, we can live righteously as we obey Holy Spirit and keep the law!
