                             GIRDED WITH TRUTH

    Standing firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.

                                                               Ephesians 6:14

    What is truth? Many have sought for the essense of truth so that they could live by that truth and welk successfully in the world.

     some do not care about truth as the truth gets in the way of what they want. Having given themselves over to self and their desires, they are willing to compromise all if it will bring them what they desire and will satisfy them.

     There are many who would claim that there is no universal "truth." This gives way to a shifting foundation which can change and crumble if a persuasive argument "sounds" right. This leads to deception and indecisiveness which harms us.

     Yet, for those of us who know our Lord, we know that there is "truth." It is His word. His word is the foundation upon which we must build. Truth is what is found in the logos word. It does not change and does not shift with the latest new argument. It has and will stand forever.

     Saints, do not be taken in by satan's lies and half-truths. Stand on God's word and your life will not be shaken!
