                         THE COMING SAVIOR

   For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace.

                                                   Isaiah 9:6-7a

     Given hundreds of years before His actual coming, this prophetic word concerning Jesus was spoken to Isaiah by God. When Jesus did come, these words were recalled and written about Him in the New Testament. He fulfilled each and every prophetic word written about the coming Savior!

     By His actions we know that He has set up His government, and there will be no end to it. His government will extend into all eternity! All mankind will be under His rule for all eternity!

     He is also described as the Mighty God and the Prince of Peace. He overcame the enemy and defeated satan through the cross and the grave. Because of this, we can have peace for all time, both now and in eternity, through our faith in Him! Praise God!
