                         HIS ABUNDANT MERCY
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.
                                                        Titus 3:5-6
As followers of Jesus Christ, we should always remember that we have not earned our salvation. It was and still is based upon His great mercy. We have not done nor can we do anything to "earn" our salvation.
But His great mercy is always abundant to the saving of all who ask Him. It is difficult for anyone to understand such great mercy. Here is the One true God of the universe, creator of all, giving great mercy and love to His fallen creatures. How wonderful!
And how did He give such great love and mercy? He did so by sending His Only begotten Son to die for us. We did deserve it! Yet, He loved us so much that He was willing to give His Son as THE sin offering for all of mankind! How can we not offer ourselves unto Him as His children and servants for His service to others!
                                                           Apostle James
