                    KEEPING HIS COMMANDS

     And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in Him; but, whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected.

                                                         1 John 2:3-5a

     Jesus is Lord and King! What He says concerning our attitude and walk should be paramount in our life. We should always seek to do as He has said we should.

     If we do not do so, then one has to wonder if we have truly had an encounter with Jesus Christ. The people who observe our actions will be able to determine quickly if we have truly been changed or if we are simply putting on a show.

     Only by a change in our heart will there be a change in our attitudes and behaviors. These will reveal the heart for we cannot speak one thing and do another. That would be hypocrisy and would bring disrepute upon our Lord. Saints, allow His love to flow in you and from you. Let the power of Holy Spirit direct and empower you to walk in His way for His glory!
