BE ALERT AND SOBER

 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

                                           1 Thessalonians 5:4-6

     Some day, the Lord has promised, He will return. When He does, He will deal out retribution to all who have rejected Him. Those who have chosen the darkness over His light will suffer for eternity in hell.

     But for those who have chosen to believe and receive Him as Christ and Lord, there will be joy unspeakable. We will rule and reign with Him and spend your eternity in the new heavens and new earth!

     Now the time of His return is not known except to the Father! Some have fallen for the lie and believe He is not ever coming! But, saints, we are not sons of darkness but of light. Therefore, we should not be caught off guard. We must not be sleeping, but we must be alert and sober. We must observe the times and seasons, and be prepared for His return!
