The New Covenant!

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the House of Israel after those days," says the Lord. "I will put my laws into their mind, and I will write them upon their hears. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people." Hebrews 8:10

Many people worry incessantly about the following the Lord. They are very concerned that they will not hear the Lord or will not be able to do what He has asked. Yet the Lord has promised that the covenant will be written upon our hearts.

Since the Lord has written upon our heart, we need to realize that we can hear. When did He write upon our hearts, you ask. When we recieved Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then He put His laws in our inner person.

Repentance brings with it a desire to live our lives differently. We find ourselves wanting to be obedient to Him. That becomes our heart's cry because His word is in us. As we listen to our inner man and follow our heart, then we will be doing His will because we want to do so.

As we keep ourselves from sin, which hinders our walk and our ability to hear, then we can have a clear channel to the Father. We can trust that the still, small voice which we hear is not us but Him.

Finally, we can judge all our "words" by the Word. If what we hear aligns itself with the Word, then that becomes our final witness.

A brand plucked from the fire!

"Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the Lord said to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you, satan! Indeed, the Lord whi has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this notna brand plucked from the fire?". Zechariah 3:1-2

In a vision shown to Zechariah, the Lord spoken of the high priest of God and called him a "brand plucked from the fire!" In this vision, satan stood at Joshua's right hand to accuse him. But the Lord rebuked satan.

Father God plucked His children from the fires of hell to keep them for His own. But satan is never satisfied. If he cannot stop what God is doing to save us, then he will accuse us before our God and try to condemn us through accusations.

But the Lord Jesus, praisw His Name, has taken our sin away and covered us in His blood! Because of this, the Lord will be on our side and will stop satan from accusing us. We will be able to experience a freedom without the crippling accusations of the enemy. We will operate with a clear with a clear concience because of the blood of Jesus.

Do not allow satan to accuse you and keep you inactive because of guilt upon Him. Be free and follow Him!

Peace in the Blood

For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in him, and through Him to the reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the bood of His Cross; through Him, I say, whether things on eartch or things in heaven.    Colossians 1:19-20

It has been and is in the Father's heart to be at peace with His creation, mankind and the created earth with all that is in a man, Father was unable to be at peace with His creation. But God made a way for those who would chose to acept His way so that they could come in peace to Him. God chose for His onl begotton Son to be the way. It was Father's good pleasure to provide the way because of the love which He has for his creation.

Jesus came and was willing to die, to shed His blood to make the way. His blood was able to reconcile any to Father if they would chose to repent and coe. His blood is the perfect sacrifice. When Father looks at His children who have chosen the way through the blood, He does not see the win, But He ses the blood of His son, Jesus.

Therefore, we have peace with Father through the blood. Because we have that peaceh, we can have peace in our heart. Praise him!
